Quick Product Review: Kindle Krack Dealer

Mar 28 2012

Bill Platt just came out with a WSO called “Kindle Krack Dealer.”

The sales thread ran into a small speed bump.

With the metric ton of Kindle WSOs flooding in, backlash is inevitable.. (I’m 99% certain that some of these are being produced by people who haven’t made a Kindle product in their life.) It’s a shame ‘ole Bill took some shrapnel for it because he does have a background in publishing.

At any rate, this is a good product with good ideas and an unfortunate title. My book is far from finished, and I need strategies. This was very helpful.

Bummer

Mar 19 2012

Kind of a bummer, the post I made about my first WSO (same as post below) got deleted from the forum without any explanation. I thought i was adding some value by talking about my experience. Sigh..

The Story of My First Warrior Forum Launch!

Mar 18 2012

My main intention was to get something out the door. A friend asked “did you over deliver?” (our private joke about an overused phrase)  And I said “No, I got so frustrated trying to figure out technical errors I was lucky to just deliver.” The whole experience was nerve-wracking.

I set up a team of writers and had them write 10 PLR health niche articles. I added some useful reports as a bonus. 140$. I paid for WSO-PRO (money well spent,) and listing fee. Total spent: $220.

I launched Thursday morning and as of Sunday I sold one copy. It has now slipped past page 3…

There are probably a dozen reasons why not much happened: My low post count, sales copy might not have been the best, the timing of the launch, etc…

But I’m not unhappy. I made my first dollar (seven actually) and that puts me on the other side. I’ve read about people trying for years to make their first dollar.

The bright side: I shipped, I made money and learned a lot in the process. I got a bunch of affiliate offers. I’m getting incredible value from WSOPRO. I learned where I am deficient and have a better idea about what to do next…

I’m about to launch my first WSO. Yay for me. It’s a simple PLR pack I curated. We’ll see how it goes!

Seth’s Blog: The hidden power of a gift

Feb 20 2012

How many times have you read a blog that actually changed your life? Well, I can say that the writings of Seth Godin have had a tremendous impact on my life. More on that later, but first I want to share one of his best posts:

Seth’s Blog: The hidden power of a gift.

Not a fan of WordPress

Feb 20 2012

I realize it’s heresy to say it, but I can’t stand WordPress. I find it incredibly counter-intuitive. I’ve never felt so stupid because I have to go searching all over the net to figure out how to change one simple thing. I guess I’ve just been spoiled by systems that take at max three clicks to set up.

Who am I?

Feb 19 2012

Hello world. My name is Richard Phillips and I hate my job. I am so tired of working for idiots. Thankfully I stumbled across Alex Jeffreys’ material and I am actually learning about how to provide value to people. I bought tons of Warrior Forum Special offers and many were not so special.
